Our CO₂ Calculation

We want to better understand where emissions occur along our value chain – and learn from it. That's why we calculated our CO₂ emissions for the first time for the year 2024.

This included Scope 3 emissions from areas such as products, transportation, and business travel. For potential Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, sufficient data was not yet available for the period reviewed. In total, our 2024 emissions amount to 5,188.75 t CO₂e.

These calculations help us better understand our largest emission sources. Additionally, we look at exemplary product calculations: For a Beverly Pant (black, size M, manufactured in Serbia), this results in approximately 8.8 kg CO₂e (±1.9 kg) per product.

These insights help us assess where emissions could potentially be reduced – for example in materials or transportation. We're already working on calculating our Corporate Carbon Footprint for 2025 to further improve our data foundation.

Energy Use in Production

A key lever lies in production – especially in the energy use at our suppliers. That's why we systematically track how much energy for electricity and heat is sourced from which sources. At the same time, we're in regular exchange with our partners to improve our data foundation and jointly explore opportunities for energy savings or the use of lower-emission energy sources.

Materials & Certifications

Our material choices also play a role.

Based on our material analysis, we're gradually assessing where the use of recycled materials can be meaningfully increased and where alternative fibers could be an option. In doing so, we make sure that the function, quality, and wearing comfort of our products are maintained.

At the same time, we're working on increasing the share of certified organic cotton and replacing conventional cotton wherever possible.

When selecting our materials, we follow recognized standards. Since December 2025, we are certified according to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS). The standard verifies the share of recycled materials and enables their traceability along the supply chain. It also includes requirements for environmental management, chemical use, and social criteria in processing facilities. First styles like the Brandy Seamless Top and the Brandy Seamless Pant already carry GRS certification.

Environmental & Chemical Management

In addition to the individual measures mentioned above, we also work with internal guidelines – such as our Environmental & Chemical Management Policy, which describes how we handle topics like chemical use, environmental requirements, and production processes.
