Terms and Conditions – WhatsApp Prize Draw

Below, we set out the terms and conditions for our WhatsApp prize draw. By taking part in the prize draw, you agree to these terms and conditions.

1. Entry to the competition is free of charge and does not entail any obligation to purchase.

2. The organiser of this competition is More than Oceans Apart GmbH, Glücksteinallee 43, 68163 Mannheim. Any claims arising from the competition must be made exclusively against the organiser. The competition is being held exclusively in Germany.

3. All adults resident in Germany are eligible to enter. During the promotion period from 9 September 2026 to 23 September 2026 at 23:59, signing up for the OCEANSAPART WhatsApp newsletter via the registration link provided in the email automatically enters you into the competition. No further confirmation of entry is required.

4. A maximum of one entry per person will be accepted; multiple entries do not increase the chances of winning. You may unsubscribe from the WhatsApp newsletter at any time free of charge; this will not affect any entries already submitted. Participation via multiple accounts, fake accounts or automated tools is prohibited.

5. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the competition. Employees of the SNOCKS Group, as well as their relatives and friends, are excluded from taking part in the competition.

6. There are 10 gift vouchers worth €50 each to be won for oceansapart.com. Cash alternatives, exchanges of the prize or transfers to third parties are not permitted.

7. The winners will be selected on 24 September 2026. Winners will be drawn at random from all eligible entries and notified personally via WhatsApp on 24 September 2026. The voucher will then be sent to the winners in a separate email.

8. This competition is not affiliated with WhatsApp or WhatsApp Ireland Limited / Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. and is neither sponsored, supported nor organised by them. Any claims relating to the competition must be made exclusively against the organiser.

9. To run the competition and process the prize, we process your mobile phone number and your email address (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR). We also use your mobile phone number for the WhatsApp newsletter on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR). We will store your data for as long as your consent remains valid or as required by statutory retention obligations. You may unsubscribe at any time and request the deletion of your data. 10. More than Oceans Apart GmbH is entitled to exclude individuals from taking part in the competition or the prize draw where there are valid grounds for doing so, such as a breach of these terms and conditions, manipulation, etc.

11. More than Oceans Apart GmbH reserves the right to cancel or terminate the competition for good cause. This applies in particular in the event of force majeure or if the competition cannot be held or continued for other (organisational, technical or legal) reasons. In such cases, participants shall have no claims. More than Oceans Apart GmbH accepts no liability for the occurrence of technical problems and/or disruptions.

12. More than Oceans Apart GmbH shall not be liable for any damage arising in connection with participation in the competition or with the acceptance and use of the prize, unless the competition organiser or its vicarious agents act with intent or gross negligence. This shall not affect any claims for compensation arising from injury to life, limb or health, or from a breach of material contractual obligations.

13. Should one or more of the above clauses be or become wholly or partially void, invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms shall remain in force. Such a clause shall be replaced by a corresponding, valid clause. The same shall apply in the event of a gap in the provisions.
